The Wheels on the Bus

This evening Josh and I took MB to a track meet. My students were competing against the middle school around the corner from our house. Michael enjoyed every minute of the meet. It turns out he's a "Romeo". He walked up to numerous pretty girls this afternoon, grabbed their hands, and said, "COME ON!" He was trying to lead them to the school bus parked beside the track.

He's been begging to ride on a school bus for weeks now, and today he got the chance to at least sit on the bus! A school bus driver from my school let him crawl around on the seats, sit in the driver's seat, and run to the back of the bus. It was a very special evening for Michael B.

It's the little things, you know?
