These are some signs that he's not an infant anymore (I have to say "infant", because he'll always be my "baby"):
1. This boyish "roar" sound that he makes, while throwing a ball or running. It sounds like...RRRAARRRGGGHHH!!!!!
2. Then there's the cimbing...onto his desk, out of his high chair, onto the couch, into the bath tub..THANKFULLY...not out of his crib, yet.
3. A growing vocabulary, which is such a cool thing to witness...it seems like everyday he learns to say a new word. Yesterday, he learned the word "pass", while watching a high school basketball game.
4. He feeds himself spaghetti, with a fork! He demands silverware and a plate, with each meal.
5. Feelings of sympathy...yesterday a piece of dust got into my eye while changing the filter for the vacuum cleaner. Michael, with concerned face, said, "Eyes? Eyes?"
Time can slow down a bit. Each stage is so much fun and certainly has it's own challenges, they just go too quickly.

One of the greatest things about being a mom is actually seeing the small things: silverware, new words, a sense of understanding. It's all amazing. I love your website. LOVE IT!! Your son is just adorable!!
thanks for your blog! it has been an inspiration for us to keep ours going. (that and mombo saying, "it's a nice picture, but i'd like to see a new one after two weeks!") Michael is becoming quite a handsome young lad!
