Enough about the marathon. Let's talk Halloween! I'm presenting the cheapest, easiest costume ever... Michael was Jeff Wiggle! He was quite proud of his costume. : ) In fact, Michael kind of strutted around the house yesterday morning, swinging his arms back and forth with pride afte
r I added the Wiggles stickers to the outfit. He's all about accessorizing, you know?
The babysitter throws a party for each holiday. The children play games like musical chairs, they have contests, cupcakes, presents; it's the real deal! Yesterday, during one of the party games, Michael won a contest. And, because he won this little contest, he was allowed to pick a prize. The prizes ranged from matchbox cars, balls, dolls, coloring books, all the way to stuffed animals. Peggy thought for sure he'd pick the car--as cars a bit of an obsession with the little fellow. Sure enough, Michael picked the neon yellow, stuffed raccoon! That's far from the matchbox car, isn't it? He's been carrying this little raccoon everywhere he goes, it's like his doll baby.
Trick or treating was a terrific success. Michael threw all shyness aside and greedily helped himself to extra pieces of candy towards the end of our excursion. Josh and I refused to be the one left behind, handing out the candy. So, our light was off most of the evening. That's un-American, I know...
We just don't want to miss out on each discovery that our little guy makes--whether it's trick or treating or picking his nose. He's our pride and joy

but he didn't come to our house.... very unfair
we love jeff....
We did the same, Katie. We both took the twosome out in their stroller to Aunt Tricia's house and a few houses on our street to introduce ourselves to the neighbors. We were a rousing success, but I think we missed a huge chunk of trick or treaters that came to our house. C'est la vie. It was still a happy Happy Halloween and now we have enough candy to last until next Halloween!
MB makes an adorable Jeff. :)
Hope we'll see you at church in the am. :)
