Not this, again.

Today we decided to take Michael to this great pool for children. There are lots of slides, fountains, things to climb on; this place is full of fun water activities for little ones.

Before we went to this great pool, however, we had a yummy, quick lunch at a restaurant. On our way to the pool, Michael looked like he was ready for bed. He had a tight grip on the little matchbox cars, but his eyes were glazing over. Despite Michael's obvious desire for SLEEP, Josh and I decided to stick to the plan.

We hopped out of the car at the pool, gave Michael a good dousing of sun screen, and then stuck him in the cold water. He wasn't happy with us, and he told us that he wanted to go HOME. We stayed at this pool for about forty-five minutes, but that's really all he could handle.

Josh and I laughed about our expectations for the afternoon on our way home. We obviously weren't expecting crying, clinging, and begging; we were expecting lots of laughing, running, and swimming! Oh well. Maybe next time. I am hopeful that the water around here will start to warm up, BRRR! It's been so cold lately.
