Happy Valentine's Day!

I sure do LOVE this day, even if it's a "Hallmark" holiday. There certainly should be a day to celebrate your love for family and friends.

One of my very best Valentine's Day memories was from my freshman year of high school. Josh gave me this really cool ink pen (it was black with a silver design), a bear, and the sweetest card...(the card had a snake on it, trust me...it was sweet). That evening I had a tennis lesson, but before my mom took me to the lesson a dozen red roses were delivered to our doorstep. They were beautiful and I felt like a princess that day (he still makes me feel that way...).

We had plans to go to a special Valentine's Day party this evening, but it's just too icey for us to get out. (It turns out that the ICE was SIGNIFICANT! Yuck.) So, we'll be enjoying the evening with our little guy. The roads are actually so bad that Josh is working from home today.

Some of the Valentine's Day cards got out today, but don't be surprised if you don't get yours until Saturday or so...
