A Beautiful Sunday...

We're enjoying a relaxing Sunday afternoon. Michael is taking a nap, Duncan is barking (what else is new...), and Josh is watching basketball, while I get things ready for a short work week. We all have the day off this coming Friday!!

Michael is doing okay, last week was a little rough for our poor guy. Last Sunday night he hit himself in the head/eyelid with a book and had a little cut on near his eyelid (and PLEASE let it be noted that his father was watching him....). Monday, he hit himself in the face (near his injured eye) with a laundry basket, while I was folding clothes. This resulted in his first "shiner", of course his injury with ME was worse than the one while his father was on baby duty. Tuesday was spent projectile vomiting--gross!! And, to top the week off his top teeth are coming through and he has a little bit of diarrhea!! (Baby diarrhea is just NASTY--for both parents and child!!) Phew...our poor guy needs a little break. He has been in great spirits through all of this, thank goodness.

He is turning into a little ball player, his favorite toy is Josh's football. He also enjoys tossing around his mini basketball and mini soccer ball. And while we are very proud of him for learning to throw a ball, we don't like that he insists upon throwing things that he is finished using. Today in church, he decided he didn't want his teething toy and so he lifts it up over his head(with both hands) to throw it away. Thankfully, we stopped him in the act!! He's a rascal...
