Every House Loves a Party.

We're throwing a little sompin', sompin' for Granddad on Saturday morning. Granted, we're just providing the structure for the somepin, somepin; but it's a fabulous excuse to go out and purchase some new things for our house. We've done zero decorating since we've moved, it's so expensive! So, we're taking baby steps this week by purchasing luscious red velvet pillows for the living room and valences for the bathroom and framing photos of our sugar. It's been fun! It's too bad that my checking account doesn't feel the same way...

I've thought about doing a little flicker thing to display our feeble decorating attempts. Maybe someday...

Michael is feeling better today. Josh called this morning to check on him, just in case he needed to be picked up early; the sitter reported that he was doing great and was preparing for show and tell. He brought his little leap frog school bus to Peg's today for show and tell.
