It's that Time of Year...

... when winter clothes begin to fade, dirty sneakers need to be replaced, the weather hasn't turned, and the hope of spring is in the air...

Today was one of those days. I pulled out my favorite pair of overalls for Michael to wear today; a pair of hand-me-down, faded red corduroy overalls, with little airplanes. To my surprise, however, they are now just a tad too short! His little navy blue turtleneck was short in the sleeves, too! Has he actually grown since the last time he wore them, which was in February??? And, wasn't February a few days ago?

He was in one heck of a mood tonight...WHO-WEE. My mom came over yesterday to help us out and she let Michael play with the markers that Granddad Michael gave him for Christmas. He's never allowed to play with these markers. He's only permitted to use the markers that only write on a special type of paper. If you have any questions as to why, take a look at the photos. He's a face painter, a couch painter, a bike painter...but, thankfully, is not a wall painter, YET. We went round and round and round about those markers tonight. He cried all through the bath about the markers, cried while getting dressed in his PJ's about the markers, so on and so on. When we finally sat down in the rocking chair; he grabbed his blankie and popped his thumb into his mouth and settled immediately. He was beat.
