Living in Limbo

Well, we have not moved yet. It looks like it might happen some time early next week, we're hoping. Initially I was irritated that our plan wasn't going to work out for the weekend... But, it's definitely for the best. We're nowhere near ready to move and the weather is not ideal for packing up the house. So, it's all good. And it will happen, if it's meant to be.

Michael had a fantastic Friday. Every few Friday's, a little boy (around four or so), goes to the sitter's house for the day. And today was the day! Michael gets SO excited. He does a little dance and squeals with delight. The little guy was shy this morning and was reluctant to come into the house with a bunch of loud mommies (can you blame him?), so Michael was ready to head out the door and walk him into the house. It's hysterical to see Michael get so excited about a friend at this age. It's pretty clear that he's excited to have another little boy to romp around with during the day.

All in all, it's been a great week. Michael is battling a nasty, nasty diaper rash though. We've tried a number of diaper rash secrets over the course of two days, but if you have one you'd like to share...I will gladly and gratefully accept advice.

Josh and I are really excited about dressing Michael up on Tuesday. I am not sure how he feels about it, though.
