It's easier to beg for forgiveness...

than to ask for permission.

Last weekend, I instructed Josh to take Michael down the baby waterslide at GWL. And sure enough, the teenaged lifeguard loudly said, "Sir, Sir, SIR, you can't ride on that slide!! You need to get down!!" Meanwhile, I was laughing my head off at Josh getting into trouble for trying to ride down the kiddie slide with Michael.

The lifeguard did say that Josh could drop him off at the top and I could catch him at the bottom, but we weren't exactly ready for that step. There was really no need for us to scare the living daylights out of Michael that night, so we went back to the room.
